TIY Customs Terms & Conditions

TIY Customs (“we” and “us”) is the operator of https://www.blackbarncustoms.com (“Website”). By placing an order through this Website, you agree to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations for our service.

1. General

Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website, but occasionally there may be a stock discrepancy, and we may not be able to fulfill all items at the time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfill the available products and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the back-ordered item or have a refund processed.

2. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase.

This price is the final shipping cost to the customer.

3. Returns

3.1 Return Due to Change of Mind

TIY Customs will happily accept returns due to change of mind if a return request is received within 30 days of receipt and the item is returned in original packaging, unused, and in resellable condition.

Return shipping will be at the customer’s expense and must be arranged independently.

Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be issued as store credit for future purchases. We will notify you by email once this has been completed.

TIY Customs will refund the value of the goods returned but will not refund any shipping costs paid.

3.2 Warranty Returns

TIY Customs will honor valid warranty claims submitted within 180 days of receipt.

Customers are required to pre-pay return shipping; however, we will reimburse this upon successful warranty claim.

Upon receipt of items for a warranty claim, TIY Customs will process the claim within 7 days.

4.1 Domestic Transit Time

Domestic shipments are generally in transit for 2–7 days.

4.2 International Transit Time

International orders are generally in transit for 3–22 days, depending on the courier selected. A more specific estimate can be provided at checkout.

4.3 Change of Delivery Address

Orders placed before 3 PM GMT will be dispatched the same day; otherwise, within the next business day. Our warehouse operates Monday–Friday during standard business hours, excluding public holidays.

4.4 Change of Delivery Address Requests

Delivery addresses can be changed any time before dispatch.

4.5 P.O. Box Shipping

TIY Customs ships to P.O. Box addresses via postal services only. Courier services are not available for these locations.

4.6 Military Address Shipping

Military addresses can be shipped via USPS only; courier services are unavailable.

4.7 Items Out of Stock

If an item is out of stock, we will wait until available before dispatching the order. Existing items will be reserved while awaiting the out-of-stock item.

4.8 Delivery Time Exceeded

If delivery exceeds the estimated timeframe, please contact us for an investigation.

5. Tracking Notifications

Upon dispatch, customers receive a tracking link to follow their shipment using updates provided by the shipping provider.

6. Parcels Damaged in Transit

If a parcel is damaged in transit, please reject it from the courier if possible, and contact our customer service at Info@tiycustoms.co.uk If delivered without your presence, contact customer service for next steps.

7. Duties & Taxes

7.1 Sales Tax

Sales tax is included in the displayed product price.

7.2 Import Duties & Taxes

International shipments may be liable for import duties and taxes upon arrival. Refusal to pay these may result in the goods being returned to TIY Customs at the customer’s expense. Refunds will be issued for the value of goods minus the cost of return shipping; initial shipping costs are non-refundable.

7.3 Brexit & European Taxation Changes

European customers: prices displayed at checkout will have 20% UK VAT removed, but some duties/VAT may still apply prior to delivery. Please consult local authorities for guidance.

8. Cancellations

Orders can be canceled any time before dispatch. If the order has already been dispatched, refer to our refund policy.

9. Insurance

Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the courier’s stated value.

9.1 Damaged Parcels

Refunds or replacements will be processed once the courier completes their investigation.

9.2 Lost Parcels

Refunds or replacements will be processed once the courier confirms the parcel is lost.
