Warranty
TIY Customs will happily honour any valid warranty claims, provided a claim is submitted within 6 months of receipt of items from the ORIGINAL purchaser of our products.
Warranty Conditions (1-Year)
Please ensure that all of the following conditions are met:
- A TIY Customs fitting partner has fitted the product(s) correctly to your vehicle.
- The claimed fault is a manufacturer defect, not damage caused by incorrect fitting.
- The defect has not been caused by previous damage (stone chips, scrapes, accidents, etc.).
- The product in question is a genuine TIY Customs, Black Barn Design, or Black Barn BLAK item.
- You are the ORIGINAL purchaser of the item. We cannot honour warranty claims on products that have changed hands (e.g. if you purchased a vehicle with our kit already fitted).
Warranty Conditions (24-Month)
Please ensure that all of the following conditions are met:
- The product(s) have been fitted correctly to your vehicle by a TIY Customs fitting partner or at TIY Customs HQ.
- The claimed fault is a manufacturer defect, not damage caused by incorrect fitting.
- The defect has not been caused by previous damage (stone chips, scrapes, accidents, etc.).
- The product in question is a genuine TIY Customs item.
- You are the ORIGINAL purchaser of the item.
If your pre-preg carbon fibre product was not fitted by a fitting partner or at TIY Customs HQ, we unfortunately cannot approve warranty claims.
Warranty Returns
Customers may be required to pre-pay the return shipping if we do not provide a return label; however, shipping will be reimbursed upon a successful warranty claim.
Once items are received for inspection, TIY Customs will process your warranty claim within 7 days.
If the claim is approved, you will receive one of the following options:
- (a) Refund to your original payment method
- (b) Store credit refund
- (c) Replacement item (subject to stock availability)
